Waterloo County R.F.C. Programs for Kids Aged 4 - 12

Sessions  will held Monday's beginning Apr. 30th and ending on July 23rd. Tournaments dates and locations are to be determined but normailly run Saturday mornings. Tournaments are not mandatory and we normally attend 3 - 5 tournaments per age group per year.

MINOR RUGBY DIVISIONS

Children are eligible for age groups when under the prescribed age as of Jan. 1 of the current year. All players must be registered with the Ontario Rugby Union. Cost for ORU membership insurance is $45. Cost for Waterloo County Minor Rugby is $80. Total Fee for all minor rugby players is $125. 

  Contact Minor Rugby Divisions

Co-ed Under 6: flag rugby & skill development. Non-contact. 6:15pm—7:00pm.   Cost = $80.

Co-ed Under 8: flag rugby & skill development. Non-contact. 6:15pm—7:00pm. Cost = $125 (includes Rugby Canada registration)

Co-ed Under 10: flag rugby & skill development. Non-contact. 6:15pm—7:00pm.  (Some players may be interested in contact at this age. If appropriate, players may play also participate in the U12 modified contact division) Cost = $125 (includes Rugby Canada registration fees)

 Contact Minor Rugby Divisions 

Co-ed Under 12:  Modified Contact: contact rugby and skill development—6:15pm —8:pm (Players who play contact rugby are included in all non-contact skill development sessions in addition to the contact sessions. Both sessions are required for contact players.)
