The Club hereby gives notice that Waterloo County RFC will hold a Special General Meeting on Saturday March 2nd at 1:00 pm at Core Training Facility in Kitchener (401 New Dundee Rd). There will be food and snacks provided.
All members of the Club are welcome and encouraged to attend.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss and vote on a motion to alter the branding of the Waterloo County Rugby Club with the addition of a Lions ‘tag’ to provide a more modern identity, especially to encourage younger members. IT IS NOT THE INTENTION to change the Club name, nor colours or existing coat of arms logo.
During the meeting a proposal will be made along these lines and members will be encouraged to discuss the proposal and then vote on its adoption.
Voting and assignment of Proxy Votes:
All full members of the Club are eligible to vote. If you cannot attend the meeting in person you have the right to a proxy vote. This means you pass your vote to another individual to cast on your behalf. To register your proxy vote you are required to email Rolland Cyr at GM@kitchenerminorhockey.com. In the email please include: your name and the name of the person you are handing the proxy vote over to. The person receiving the proxy vote must also be copied on the email and be a full member in good standing with the club.
The request for a proxy vote must be made before midnight the day before the SGM.
Questions on any matter surrounding the SGM may be forwarded to Graham Stickler, President (email@example.com) or Greg Dawkins (firstname.lastname@example.org)
Thank you for your time.
